Stories are a huge part of our everyday lives. From the books we read to the things we tell ourselves about what is going on around us, we are constantly in the state of telling stories.
I was always the kid with her nose in a book or telling myself stories with my dolls. In the fifth grade, I had a teacher who read one of my stories and told me that she wanted to see me on the New York Times Bestsellers. That was the moment that I truly believed that I could be an author.
